Bio

Rachel Silvers has spent her life chasing the next sound. Trained from childhood in musical theater and opera, she brought her soprano vocals to Austin Opera's stage in productions of Tosca, Carmen, and Othello, and lent her voice to the Gilbert & Sullivan Society's Pirates of Penzance. That classical foundation has never boxed her in. Today she's just as likely to be found fronting the punk fusion band Constellation ATX, singing solo for Moontower Minyan's religious gatherings, or in the booth voicing Ezra Hoffer for the upcoming indie animated series Falling Tides, set to release on YouTube in 2026. Rachel is as creative as she is versatile and is comfortable singing just about any genre at almost any event, gathering or special occasion.

Rachel holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Rhetoric and Writing, and trained at the Carol Hickey Acting Studio in Austin through foundations acting, cabaret, and improvisation coursework. Her roots go back further still. She is a graduate of McCallum Fine Arts Academy, and, before that, the Actors Training Center in Wilmette, IL, where she first took the stage as Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof and the Widow Corney in Oliver!

Whatever the room calls for, classical, jazz, R&B, a 1940s standard, Broadway, country, or something in between, Rachel brings the same range and warmth that's carried her from the opera house to the animation booth. That's the idea behind Versatile Vocals: one voice, built for every occasion.
